What eligibility do you require for making a career in pharmaceutical biotechnology?

For a bachelor’s degree

i.e. B.Pharm

  • Must have qualified 10+2 level from a certified educational board
  • Mandatory subjects are physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology. English is also mandatory.
  • Must have secured a minimum of 50% in the 12th standard.

For post graduate course

  • Must be holding a degree in B.Pharm or other such bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum 50% aggregate score in B.Pharm is compulsory

Entrance exams for pharmaceutical biotechnology

There is no common entrance exam for starting a career in pharmaceutical biotechnology. Every individual college has its entrance process and examination. Such exams mainly test an individual’s general aptitude and their basic knowledge of science subjects and pharmaceutics.

In some cases, a personal interview might follow the entrance exam. After all relevant processes are completed, the merit list of colleges is available and based on your performance, and you will get admission to any suitable college. This process is followed for both the B.Pharm and M.Pharm students.
