KTH Scholarships 2023. KTH offers four different scholarship opportunities for master’s studies. The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee of a one or two year master’s programme.

The KTH One-Year Scholarship is aimed at current KTH master’s programme students and covers the tuition fee of the second year of studies. The KTH Joint Programme Scholarship is aimed at students in certain joint programmes and covers the tuition fee for the study period spent at KTH. The KTH India Scholarship is aimed specifically at students from India.

The Swedish Institute (SI) offers a number of scholarships for students from targeted countries coming to Sweden.

What is the duration of scholarship?

The KTH Scholarship covers the tuition fee at KTH for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory.

Eligibility:

To be eligible for the scholarship you must be a fee-paying student and have applied for a master’s programme at KTH as your first priority. Students with conditional eligibility also qualify for the scholarship.

 

Selection process:

The scholarship is awarded primarily on the basis of academic excellence and the selection process is undertaken in parallel with the admissions process. Only applicants who fulfill the admission requirements of the programme applied for are eligible for a scholarship. After the applicants have been assessed for admission, an assessment of applicants for the scholarship is made based on the following criteria:

How to apply for KTH Scholarships?

The academic year at KTH starts at the end of August and finishes early June. It consists of two semesters of 20 weeks each.

From 17 October, you can apply for master’s studies starting in 2023, and you apply through University Admissions, the Swedish national application system.

The last day to apply is 16 January.

  4. Submit your required documents by 1 February
  5. Pay the application fee by 1 February
  6. Check the admission results on 30 March
