BACKGROUND
Dandruff is shaded startum corneum produced in large scale which are visible to necked eye. Dandruff is caused by skin irritation, disease, mycrobial contamination or infection. Shading of startum correum is due to excessive brushing and scrateches or by using concerntranted shampoo. Antidandruff preparations containing agents to minimize dandruff. Here the preparation include thymol and camphor as anti-dandruff agent. Menthol acts as cooling agent and it also reduces inflammation Triethyl amine lauryl sulphate is used as detergent and foaming agent.1
Aim: To prepare and submit 20gm of Anti-dandruff shampoo.

REQUIREMENTS
Chemicals: Thymol,
Menthol,
Camphor,
Trietharol amine lauryl sulphate,
Perfume.
Apparatus: Motor and pestle,
Glass rod,
Weighing balance,
Beaker.

PROCEDURE
Menthol, thymol and camphor was mixed together in a mortor and then it was transferred into a beaker. Required amount of surfactant was added to it. Then water was added to make up the required volume. Finally it was packed, labelled and submitted.
