BACKGROUND
After shave lotion are the preparation intended to fresh the skin. These are mild astringent in nature. Cetrimide is used as emulsifying agent and also enhances the skin peretrability.1

Aim: To prepare and submit 10 ml of after shave lotion.
REQUIREMENTS
Chemicals: Glycerin,
Cetrimide,
Menthol,
Alcohol,
Perfume.
Apparatus: Beaker (100ml),
Glass rod,
Weighing balance,
Measuring cylinder.
PROCEDURE
Glycerin and alcohol was added in a beaker to get uniform mixture. Accurately weigh amount of cetrimide and menthol were added to get dissolved properly. Perfume and colour was added at the end and final volume was make up with remaining amount of water.Then the mixture was packed, labelled and submitted.
