What are the Key Responsibilities?
Senior SO-1
To plan and execute analytical work.
Senior SO-II
To work on advanced analytical equipments and protocols for tobacco products analysis.
Technical Assistant
To carry out analytical/synthetic work and to prepare relevant technical reports
What are the Educational Qualification(s) for Scientific Officer?
Senior SO-1
M.Sc. with PhD in Chemistry / Analytical Sciences / Instrumentation / studies related to tobacco and tobacco products.
Senior SO-II
M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Sciences or M.Pharm with five years research experience
Technical Assistant
M.Sc or B.Sc./B.Pharm with three years of experiences in chemical/ physical/ biological analysis/computer applications.
What is the Age Limit for this post?
Senior SO-1: 45 years (as on date of publication in employment News)
Senior SO-II: 45 years (as on date of publication in employment News)

Monthly Compensation:
Senior SO-1: Rs. 65,000/-
Senior SO-II: Rs. 60,000/-

Senior SO-1
3 years research experience in natural products / synthesis/ analysis of organic compounds/ bio-chemical/ pharmaceutical sciences.
Senior SO-II
3 years research experience in natural products/synthesis/analysis of organic compounds/bio-chemical/pharmaceutical sciences
Technical Assistant
Experience of operating analytical equipment
General Information
Eligible candidates shall be required to submit separate application for each post to be applied in prescribed format annexed with self-attested copies of certificates of qualifications and experience to the Director, CDTL, Mumbai at the above address by post. All original documents must be brought for verification at the time of interview, if invited. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interviews for the job applied for. After scrutiny of applications, candidates will be shortlisted for Interview. The date & venue of interview shall be communicated to shortlisted candidates separately.
