Opportunity at The National Research Centre on Equines. Walk-in-Interview for selection of one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DST project entitled “Translation of nanobased quinapyramine sulphate formulation into product and its evaluation against Trypanosoma evansi in animals” purely on contractual basis for a period of three years or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier, will be conducted on the date/time and venue and other details shown against each position. The eligible and interested candidates are invited to appear for the same the scheduled date, time and venue.

What are the Key Responsibilities?

• Synthesis of nanoformulations and their characterisation.
• In vitro and in vivo toxicological studies.
• Translating the nano formulation into product using GMP and GLP guidelines.
• Pharmacokinetics and other associated studies as per requirement of regulatory approvals tor clinical trails. Efficacy of the nanoformulations in animal models/clinical cases.
• Assistance in preparing the analysis reports.
• Assistance in preparing the scientific/technical notes for publication of research papers/articles/patents.

What are the Educational Qualification(s) for this position(s)?

Masters degree in Nanotechnology / Pharma / Medicine / Biomedical Sciences / relevant basic or life sciences with NET or GATE qualification.




What is the Age Limit for this post?

35 years for Men and 40 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of interview.
(Upper age relaxable as per ICAR rules in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates)

Monthly Compensation:

Rs.31,000/- P.M.+ 8% HRA for & 2nd year and 35,000/- P.M. + 8% HRA for 3rd year. (no other allowances admissible)

General Information

1. Those candidates who arc already working in any Project/Scheme/Organisation should bring “No Objection Certificate”‘ from his present employer.
2. On the date of walk-in-interview requisite degrees/certificates should be in hand.
3. The experience will be counted after acquiring the basic minimum qualifications.
4. This is purely contractual position and co-terminus with the project or satisfactory performance at the discretion of project PL The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Centre.
5. Eligible and interested candidates may attend walk-in-interview on the date as indicated in the Advertisement along with completed application form with original certificates and mark sheets and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each of their certificates with recent coloured passport size photograph. The candidates must attach self-certified copies of PDC/Degree certificate for minimum eligible qualification alongwith the self-certified copies of certificates and marks transcript starting from matriculation onwards till minimum essential qualification.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

8. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary formalities.
9. Marks will be awarded on candidate’s cumulative academic performance, experience and interview as per NRCE guidelines.
