Vacancy for Research Officer at ICMR-NARI. What are the Key Responsibilities?

Monitoring testing of serum/plasma/DBS samples(ELISA, Western Blot, Rapid Test)
Travel for monitoring and supervision of field work
Training , monitoring quality of lab work at the sites
Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time

What are the Educational Qualification(s) for this position(s)?

1st Class Masters Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 4 years experience

2nd Class Masters Degree + Ph.D degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 4 years experience

Duration:

10 months

What is the Age Limit for this post?

Below 45 Years

Monthly Compensation:

Rs.64000/- per month

What is the Experience Required for this Job?

Experience of having worked in the field of HIV/ AIDS
Experience in conducting and monitoring large scale testing

What are the Preferred Skills required for this Job/Position?

Knowledge of bio safety and containment laboratory concepts

Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons. Government servants should apply through proper channel or enclose `No Objection Certificate’ from the present office/employer along with their application.
