What are the Key Responsibilities?
Be a part of protein science team and perform recombinant DNA techniques.
- Design and perform recombinant DNA techniques like PCR, RT-PCR,
- Cloning techniques like Ligation based cloning, recombination based cloning, shRNA cloning, Sub cloning
- Site directed mutagenesis
- Sanger sequence data analysis
- Genomic DNA/RNA isolation techniques
What are the Educational Qualification(s) for this position(s)?
M.Tech / M.Sc or similar qualifications in Biotechnology/ Cell Biology/ Biomedical Sciences/ Life Sciences with 1-2 years of research experience.
What is the Experience Required for this Job?
1-2 years of research experience
What are the Preferred Skills required for this Job/Position?
- Knowledge of software like Vector NTI/Geneious/ SnapGene
- Diligent documentation skills and experience writing detailed E-Lab/Lab Notebooks
Desirable
• Reagent inventory maintenance
• Experience with liquid handlers
• High throughput cloning techniques
Behavioral Skills:
• A proactive team player
• Ensure completion of experiments and generate accurate and reproducible data from experiments.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously with; comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
