Project Assistant
B.Sc Chemistry from a recognized University or Equivalent.
Project Associate-II
Master’s Degree in Biotechnology. Minimum of two-years of expertise in lignocellulosic biomass conversion to fuels / chemicals. Experience in Biomass pre- treatment, hydrolysis and fermentation , HPLC and GC analyses, biochemical analyses of sugars, FTIR, and operation of lab scale fermenters desirable.
Senior Project Associate
PhD in Life Science from a recognized University.
Project Associate-I
Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or Equivalent.
What is the Age Limit for this post?
Project Assistant: 50 Years
Project Associate-II: 35 Years
Senior Project Associate: 40 Years
Project Associate-I: 35 Years
Monthly Compensation:
Project Assistant: Rs. 20,000/-+HRA
Project Associate-II: Rs. 35,000/-+HRA for who possess valid CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or valid GATE score. Rs. 28,000/-+ HRA for who do not fulfill the above.
Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/-+HRA
Project Associate-I: Rs. 31,000/-+HRA for who possess valid CSIR-UGC NET Score (including lectureship) or valid GATE score. Rs. 25,000/-+ HRA for who do not fulfill the above
What is the Experience Required for this Job?
Project Assistant
1-2 years of experience in Synthetic Lab Techniques.
Senior Project Associate
Experience in field of nanobiotechnology having expertise in nanoparticle synthesis (metal and polymeric nanoparticles), surface modification with proteins, antibodies (bio-conjugation) and biochemical assays like ELISA, Western Blot, and in vitro assays including cell culture work.
Project Associate-I
Candidate having 2 years’ experience in molecular probe design and synthesis (fluorescence and Raman active molecules), Knowledge in Photophysical studies, Raman spectroscopy, hands on experience of Raman spectrometer. Synthesis of nanoparticles (metal and polymeric nanoparticles) and their characterizations
General instructions
• Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped and female candidates applicable as per GOI/CSIR Rules. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualification and experience will be the closing date of online application i.e. 25-07-2022.
• The above posts are tenable till the duration of project.
• Candidates should submit separate application for each post indicating the Post Code. Incomplete and late application will not be considered. Bringing in any influence, political or otherwise shall disqualify the candidates.
• The duly constituted Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates. The candidates should therefore, mention in the application all the qualification and experiences in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualification supported with documents.
Mode of Selection
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for ONLINE INTERVIEW. The date and time of online interview will be notified in our website niist.res.in in due course.
• Interim enquiries will not be attended to.
