Outline of the project: The project aims to understand impact of Salmonella infection on obesity and diabetes. The project utilizes experimental approaches using C. elegans, microbiology, physiology and infection biology.

What are the Educational Qualification(s) for JRF?
Masters in any branch of Life Sciences with first division or equivalent CGPA and the candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test-LS /or GATE (mandatory) or any other equivalent national level exams. Minimum of 1-2 years research experience of working with C. elegans and microbes will be given preference
Monthly Compensation:
Rs. 31000/- with 8% HRA (No accommodation)
What are the Preferred Skills required for this Job/Position?
Hand on all basic microbiology techniques, molecular biology, microscopy and cell biology will be an advantage.
Duration:
One year (extendable based upon performance)
