What are the Educational Qualification(s) for Project Linked Person at ISI?
Must have completed Master degree with consistently good academic record in Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Life Science. Experience in molecular biology and cell biology techniques will be preferred.
What is the Age Limit for Project Linked Person at ISI?
Age should not exceed 35 years as on 01 July 2022 with usual relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC/ Women and differently abled candidates. Age relaxation may be given to outstanding candidates or candidates with relevant experience.
Monthly Compensation of Project Linked Person at ISI
20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) to 25000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) per month (consolidated) depending on the experience of the selected candidates.
Tenure of appointment of Project Linked Person at ISI
The appointment is likely to be till 31 March 2023 from the date of his/her joining the institute which may be extended upto 31 July 2022/terminated earlier based on performance of the candidate and availability of the required fund.

Eligible and interested candidates appearing for the interview are required to bring an application addressed to the Professor-in-Charge, Biological Sciences Division, Indian Statistical Institute with current resume (signed) in English which is required to include (a) Name (in block letters), (b) Permanent/ Present Address, (c) E-mail Address, (d) Telephone/Mobile No., (e) Parent’s/Spouse’s Name, (f) Date of birth, (g) Academic Qualifications (with percentage of marks/ grades obtained in each examination from 10th standard onwards), (h) Experience (if any), (i) Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ Pan Card, (j) SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled status including self attested copies of all documents/ testimonials and also bring the original copies of their certificates for verification of photocopies.
At the time of joining, selected candidates have to produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification and a medical certificate of fitness from the Medical Officer of the Institute. Failing this, the institute will offer the position to the next candidate in the merit list prepared for this purpose. CVs with incomplete information or without supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
If the number of candidates is more than 10, a screening test (MCQ) will be conducted, and top 10 short listed candidates will only be eligible for interview. The Institute reserves the right not to appoint any of the above. This advertisement is also available on our website www.sical.ac.in/jobs.
