In Consumer BioSolutions, we develop and serve all industries which deliver innovation to consumers, including developing the new technologies for detergents for household care consumers. You will work in close collaboration with a diverse and agile team having various in-house competencies. You will have a unique opportunity to create, build and expand inhouse detergent formulation knowledge. The area we are working in is specifically to assist our customers in making tomorrows’ detergents more eco-friendly by optimizing them for enzyme inclusion and using newer biological ingredients. Thereby you will be part of a team that will be spearheading the acceleration of the path to greener and sustainable detergents where we continue to push the boundaries for our area through close collaboration optimization and concept implementation with our customers, digitalization of the washing process and parameters.

What are the Key Responsibilities?
The Research Associate will be assisting in global pre-formulations, prototyping and product development with existing and newer Bio-ingredients along with Enzymes with key focus on future formats. The formulation development will involve end to end development via interfaces from academia to industry, pilot to plant scale activities, formulation to product analytics vs competition functional and stable performance to Consumer relevant sensorial attributes. You will be responsible for conducting product and performance evaluation of the prototypes and assist in formulation optimization.
What are the Educational Qualification(s) for this position(s)?
M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Sciences/Chemical Engineering
What is the Experience Required for this Job?
– 2 or more years’ experience in Household care/Home care related FMCG company
– Experience in formulation and product evaluation (cleaning, sensory) of detergents across various formats
What are the Preferred Skills required for this Job/Position?
– Curious, self-driven and a strong team player
– Strong experimental skills, with a talent to apply scientific findings to solve practical problems
– Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
