(i) Doctoral Degree in Biological Sciences from a recognized university or equivalent; And Three years’ experience in Research and development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Project Associate-II (01)
(i) Master’s Degree in Environmental/ Atmospheric Pollution/Industrial Pollution/Chemistry / Statistics subject.Or,B.Tech. / BE in the subject area of Environmental/Civil/ Chemical Engineering / Technology from a recognized university or equivalent institute. And Twoyears experiencein the above subject areas worked in Research & Development / Science & Technology Organizations / Industries / Academicinstitutions.
Senior Project Associate (01)
: (i) MTech/ ME in the subject area of Environmental/Civil/ Chemical OR subjects related to Atmospheric Pollution/Industrial Pollution from a recognized University or equivalent institute. And (ii) Four years of experience in the above subject areas worked in Research & Development / Science & Technology Organizations / Industries / Academic institutions. OR Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Science/Engineering/Technology for research subject related to Environmental Pollution / Atmospheric Pollution/Industrial Pollution from a recognized University or equivalent Institute.

(i) Master’s Degree in (Biotech/Microbiology/ Environmental Science) with Four years or more research experience from a recognized University or equivalent; OR Doctoral Degree in (Biotech/Microbiology/Life Sciences) from a recognized University or equivalent

: M.Tech./ME in Environmental/Civil/Chemical Engineering/ Technology from a recognized university or equivalent Institute.
Senior Project Associate (01)
: Two SCI publications in the above subject areas.

Monthly Compensation:
Project Scientist II (01)
Rs. 67,000+ HRA Increment of 5% for every 2 years of experience subject to performance review
Project Associate-II (01)
Rs. 28,000/-+HRA per month as per rule.
Senior Project Associate (01)
Rs. 42,000/-+ HRA per month as per rule.
Senior Project Associate (01)
Rs. 42,000/-+ HRA per month as per rule.
Project Associate (01)
Rs. 31000/+HRA Or 25000/-+HRA (i) 31000/-+HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 25000/-+HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

General Conditions
- Age relaxation will be admissible to SC/ST/OBC/PWD & Women candidates as per Govt. of India/CSIR/Funding Agency Guidelines.
- Suitable Candidates may be empanelled for future requirement if any, under different projects.
- The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview.
- The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications prescribed for that Post.
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects.
- The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/IITR post(s).
- The number of positions against the various projects can vary at the time of selection depending on the requirement of the institute.
- No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
- No correspondence will be entertained through any medium regarding the advertisement.
- Candidates must bring their original educational/experience certificates with them. Otherwise, they will not be allowed in the interview
Eligible candidates will have to report for interview at 9.00 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to attend the interview after 10.00 am. The candidates have to appear for the interview before the selection committee on the above date and time at CSIR-Indian Toxicological Research Institute, Toxicology Bhawan, 31 Mahatma Gandhi Marg Lucknow 226001. Eligible candidates will appear along with the duly filled application form (which can be downloaded from the Institute’s website iitrindia.org) along with attested copies of mark sheets/certificates and latest passport size photograph. The candidate will be called for the interview only if he/she is in possession of the original certificates.
