Opportunities at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute 2022. CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, a premier Institute under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), is involved in multidisciplinary R&D programs of both basic and applied nature. CSIR-CDRI is a pioneer biomedical research organization in India and has the infrastructure and expertise to develop a drug from concept to commercialization.
In the year 2012, CSIR-CDRI shifted to its state of the art new campus, which has been set up with a vision to serve as a Nodal Center of CSIR in new drug discovery and development. Spread across ~61 acres, it houses an R&D Complex, Support Services, Guest House, Hostel and Staff Quarters.
With the aim to expand and strengthen the areas of Neuroscience, Cancer, Endocrinology and metabolic disease, Clinical Pharmacology, Toxicology, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, Medicinal Process Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, Biochemistry and Structural Biology, the Institute is looking for enthusiastic, talented young researchers / professionals with brilliant academic record, proven scientific achievements and zeal to conduct research as per the mandate of the Institute aligned with National Missions.

- Good communication skills will be preferred. Applicants are required to make a 10 min presentation (not more than 5 slides) of their Ph.D work.

Step by Step procedure for Engagement of Project Staff through online
- The candidate will apply online through the link.
- All Received applications will be screened by duly constituted Standing Screening Committee. The Screening Committee may fix different set of criteria to short-list the candidates as per the project requirement. The Screening Committee will screen all applications received for the specified project and recommend eligible candidates will be called for online interview. In case of false information received through online application, the competent authority will cancel the candidature of the applicant and debarred for attending the interview in future.
- Eligible applicants may be called for interview through online and Interview letter will be sent him/her through e-mail intimating the date & time of Interview, link/reference of online mode, terms & conditions, if any. The candidate will be allowed to join only after verification of original certificates and other information found correct.
- Based on the performance of the candidates and availability of suitable candidates, Selection Committee may also recommend Panels for future engagement in different projects as and when need arises. The engagement process will be complete after the joining of the candidates.
