Vacancy for Project Assistant at Assam Agricultural University 2023. Interview for filling up the following position will be held on 04.01.2023 at 10.00 AM in the Department of Plant Pathology, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, 785013. Interested candidates having requisite qualification may submit a motivation letter along with the biodata and the attested copies of certificates, and other testimonials, publications etc. on or before 01.01.2023 to the Principal Investigator of the project through email to [email protected].
Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the interview with bio-data, publications/thesis etc. and passport size photographs, original and attested copies of all testimonials etc. which must be presented at the time of interview.

What is the Age Limit for this post?
35 years (5 years relaxation for ST/SC and 3 years for OBC Candidates).
Monthly Compensation:
Rs. 20,000/- per month + 8% HRA
General terms and conditions:
- The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project and is initially offered for one year.
- The duration of the project is tentative.
- The person employed will have no right to claim employment or engagement in AAU at the end of the contract period.
- The decision of the Director of Research (Agri.), AAU, Jorhat will be final and binding in all aspects.
- Candidates in service or in the study are to submit a study dropped certificate/no objection certificate from the competent authority to appear in the interview.
