13. Forgetting to wear safety glasses
Eyes are precious, and who doesn’t know it. Therefore, it’s better to wear a pair of safety glasses while handling chemicals to avoid any sort of injury to our eyes.
14. Not wearing UV shields
UV transilluminators are really dangerous if proper protection is not taken and can result in serious damage. Therefore, it is required to take proper protection before handling experiments that require exposure to UV.
15. Opening some chemical in the outside environment
A lot of people open some hazardous chemical like Beta – mercaptoethanol outside the fume hood. This should not be done as it can cause harm to the nasal passage and the respiratory system. Like that many chemicals are there that should be opened with proper precaution so that it will not cause any harm to others.
