A marine biologist is a professional who is liable for searching for various information about varied elements of the seabed environment. Their primary work is doing research on deep-sea diversity such as studying the life of sea animals from proximity, to get acquainted with several sea animals breeds, microorganisms and plants in the deep sea. For making a career as a marine biologist, a minimum requirement is plus two or equivalent with a good percentage in science subjects like physics, biology and chemistry are required. - Step 1: At first, you have to qualify for an entrance exam for getting admission to the best college in a country that offers Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology. Notice regarding the examination along with all details about the rules and syllabus is out in February –March and the examination is held in May. But there are some institutes or universities that offer admission based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination or on first cum first basis.
- Step 2: After you complete your Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, you can opt for a Master’s degree in marine biology or any related field or you can look for any job in a private or Government sector.
